The Holy Quran |
The Qur'an, a religious book of Muslims, which has been revealed as a guide for life for all mankind. But, what do we know about the Qur'an, who say that we are Muslims? However, acquiring Islamic knowledge is obliged for all of us. When we know about the Qur'an, our love for this epic book will increase. At the same time, if someone is wrong about the Qur'an, then we will not be misguided ourselves and be able to mislead it.
The purpose of this writing is to highlight the initial identity of the Quran. In this essay, what the meaning of the Qur'an, the definition of the Qur'an, and the names of the Qur'an will be discussed.
1. The meaning of the Qur'an is that the word "Qur'an" can have some meanings. Such as
1) According to Imam Shafei, the word koran is a noun, which has no meaning. This opinion is not acceptable to most Ulema.
2) According to many, the word koran comes from 'karana' which means to converge. Since the Qur'an is consistent with the verse and the Surah together, according to this opinion, the meaning of the word koran is 'collected book'. This opinion is even less acceptable to the ULIMA.
3) The most acceptable opinion is that the word koran comes from the word karaa. The word karaa means recitation. So the meaning of the Qur'an is 'to recite'.
2. Which book should we call the Quran: In general, we all understand Muslims as the Qur'an. But, defining the Qur'an but not so easy to define. There are 7 parts of the very accepted definition of the Qur'an. The definition is:
The Quran is 1) the word of Allah in the Arabic language, 2) which has been revealed, 3) on Muhammad (4), 4) in words and in the sense, 5) that is preserved in the 'mufaaf', 6) has come to us' mutawati 'By description, 7) Challenges for some of mankind made similar
Let's try to understand the definition. Qur'an directly to God's words, in Arabic, that is, no translation of the Qur'an can be called the Qur'an. On Muhammad (peace be upon him) it has been revealed for 23 years, in words and in the sense. That is, the revelations of the Qur'an are not only the words of God but also its every word of God. Allah has recited the verses of the Qur'an to Gabriel (A), and when he heard it, he recited it to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) in the same address, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) remembered it and remembered it in the same phrase Recited to Therefore, when we read the Qur'an, then it is directly our Creator, our Lord, our Lord, who lives forever, the most merciful, the merciful, reads his words, read as he reads. Think of how thrilling it was once thought!
Combine all the Surahs of the Qur'an in the correct sequence, written copies of the form of a book, the first of which is Surat Fatiha, the last Surah Nasr - to him as 'Mu'saf'. The Qur'ān's definition refers to the Qur'ān, written and compiled during the time of Uthman (peace be upon him). (This is a mousaf or urmani Qur'an, it is in the history of preserving the Qur'an in the future, Insha Allah.)
After the definition, it was said that the description of 'mutawati' When many people speak differently about something, but say the same thing, then that statement is certainly true. Because, it is not possible for many people to make the same statement by making or making mistakes. This unanimity of the description of multiplicity is called 'mutawati'. All copies we receive from the Qur'an copies of the people of different ages are all one of them. Therefore, according to Mutwahati, there is no doubt that the Quran that is in our hands is correct.
The last point speaks of the miracles of the Qur'an and God's challenge to humankind. The Qur'an is such a book, that it is far away from a whole book, but a Surah like that of a Surah can never be written to bring people. (Baqarah: 23-24)
3. It is not right to call the Qur'an "holy Qur'an": In the Quran, Allah has called this book as Qur'an more than 70 times. Besides, there are many other names and many features of the Quran in the Qur'an and Hadith. However, the Quran has not addressed the Qur'an either Allah (SWT) or 'Holy' (whose Arabic is 'Mukaddas'). So, we should abandon this address. Perhaps we have got this tendency to say 'holy' from people of other religions. For example, Christians say their scripture is called The Holy Bible. But we want to stay in the correct path of Islam, so we do not want to follow the Quran and Hadith and add new things to the religion, and so we will not call the Quran as 'holy'.
According to Abul Ma'ali, in the Qur'an, Allah has addressed the Qur'an in more than 50 different names. Al-Kitim (book), Al-Kareem (great), al-Hakim (knowledgeable), al-Majid (glorified), al-Furqan (almighty), al-Jikr (warning, memorandum) etc.
Therefore, we should not refer to the Qur'an as the Holy Quran, such as the Qur'an-ul-Kareem (the holy book), the Qur'an-Majid (the glorious Qur'an), and so on.
To this day. Know about the great scripture Qur'an, the more you know, your love for it will increase, because there is no better advice book for mankind than this world. In the future, we will write about the history of the Qur'an and the history of preservation, In Shi Allah.
